It seems our back yard has turned into a wildlife reserve. Or the local fauna are desperately seeking refuge. I imagine the acreage behind our home was full of deer at some point, before some crazy people came and cut down all the trees and then JUST LEFT IT THERE in big giant heaps. What a waste! I'm not a crazy tree-hugger that thinks that cutting down a tree is tantamount to murder, but I do think it's wasteful to just raze a chunk of property in a residential area--for no apparent reason. Now it's for sale.
Now we have deer that come into our yard.
Now I'm sitting in my living room looking out over the back yard as I sip a cup of coffee and work on an overdue script. I'm sure I'll see Bambi soon.
