The Japanese government has hosted robot awards. See? Maybe thinking about robots, and my secret desire to have my very own, though not sarcastic, Rosie isn't in left field after all. Check out the article. The motivation is to take care of an aging population. I am particularly intrigued by their choice of seals as a petable object. Just sayin'.
